Unless otherwise stated, there are no shipping fees for our products. This applys to product(s) sent to the five main centers of Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide. If you want to go to secondary airports like Rural Victoria or NSW it will require an email to us to work it out. Canberra will be at the same free Rate as Sydney.

Our Guarantee
We only send products that are in the very best live condition. This year in Australia we expect virtually no DOA claims from our wholesale clients to whom we ship over 6,000 cartons of live product per year. As an internet buyer you are getting the same quality product. We usually discuss with clients potential shipping problems with a specific fish or invertebrate before we pack a shipment. Problems could be with size, spikey features or other issues.

Security
Our business is only there on return customers. This applies to our Australian wholesale list where we have retained the same clients for, in some cases, eight years. All your order / data / personal and professional information is secure on the site and at our own facilities. We are fully secure for bank and credit card information.

Rocks

Live rock in its many forms has a life of its own. We currently sell raw rock. That is base rock that has everything still live in and on it. From frog fish to morey eels to shrimps.

In the new hatchery under construction at the moment we will have curred rock that has been in spray booths for up to a week with most or all of the invertebrates removed.

New Quota/new year

We will only sell rock to three companies at this stage in Australia, Red tree aquariums in Canberra, Vebas in Perth and limited amouts to the Strictly group in Sydney. We will also make limited amounts avaliable to clients on the net with preference going to those in more remoter locations.

Rock Farming

The State government is about to process the aplications for live rock farming that it has in front of it at the moment.

Due to the time it takes to process these, around 300 to 400 days, the first licences will be issued if all goes well , which it never does, in late 2008, which should see significant amounts of aquacultured rock hitting the market in mid 2009.

We are currently evaluating overseas created live rock for use in the aquaculture of live rock. We are currently putting the early samples through some tests and we will let you know the results as they come to hand.

Just an update for those following the aquaculture of rock issue. The WA department has the whole issue on hold and we now expect it will be 2010 before the department looks at issueing licences. I told you not to hold your breath.

Once the WA goverment allows offshore live rock farming we will also make that avaliable.

There is now a discusion paper on this subject out and we will update you on this in time. .

Rubble Rock
We have several boxes of small rubble rock for $90 a box. There are about fivteen boxes and the pieces are about the size of your fist and smaller.

These boxes are only 15 kg each
